Display app icon on lower left corner in lock screen using geofence

I want to display my app icon on left lower corner in lock screen when it entered a specific geographical region. I know that it can be done using Suggested Apps, Geofence and iBeacons. But cannot use Suggested Apps or iBeacon. So, I choose to use CoreLocation Geofences. I followed couple of tutorials like

I tested the app and I am sure CLRegion enter/exit events working fine. But, I cannot see the app icon display in lock screen. What could be the reason for i cannot see the app icon?
