c++ DEVICE_OBJECT's FILE_PORTABLE_DEVICE Characteristics doesn't work on win7?

I want to pick the portable devices out,but the DEVICE_OBJECT's FILE_PORTABLE_DEVICE Characteristics doesn't work on win7 but win10, In win7,all devices's FILE_PORTABLE_DEVICE are 0x00. In https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff543147(v=vs.85).aspx says:FILE_PORTABLE_DEVICE Indicates that the underlying stack considers the device portable. This is used by the storage stack and means that the device is not in the local machine container and is not on a fixed bus type.
