Does firebase a good choice for an e-commerce ionic mobile app? Session, Shopping cart, etc

I am recently planning to crate an e-commerce mobile app using ionic framework.

However, not quite sure if firebase is a good choice for the back-end services to handle session, shopping cart, etc ...

If you have done some e-commerce project using ionic + firebase, please advice.

By the way, does ionic a good choice to make e-commerce mobile app?
